Their five top tips are:

• Accept autistic people as they are, including e.g. fidgeting
• Help them make friends – autism is often a very lonely place to be
• Enable them to take part – e.g. in doing the Bible reading
• Be aware that they may have different sensory experiences
• Try to use logical thinking and stick to what you’ve said

Understand that the church is not complete without autistic people there.
